What's in a name?

Why Devil's Advocate Communications? Well, I wanted something catchy, of course, but the truth is that the name was inspired by my wife, Dalma. Her family name is Ördögh. The Hungarian word Ördög translates as Devil; at some point in the distant past the letter "h" was added to the surname to make it one step removed from the evil suggested by it. More than that, Dalma is a very talented lawyer, having worked for international law firms for most of her professional life. Put the two together and, hey presto, Devil's Advocate!

PS: I am not in any way suggesting that my wife, who, as I may have already mentioned, is a very good lawyer, is at all Devil-like.
